New guidance issued on monitoring of airborne asbestos fibres
The Association of Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) has issued new guidelines on the monitoring of airborne asbestos fibres in buildings.
Its new guidance is designed to give better advice on why and when monitoring should be put in place.
Monitoring is a powerful tool in the fight against asbestos exposure. It can help to check the effectiveness of dust suppression methods, confirm the appropriate protection is being issued to builders, and confirm when an area is suitable to be used again.
Kershaw Contracting Services can advise on how air monitoring can, and should, be implemented within the projects your building team will be working on.
