St Georges is a secondary school based in Gravesend, Kent.
Due to the age of the building, a number of asbestos items had been identified, some of which required remedial action.
Kershaw Contracting services was asked to attend site, to discuss the remediation and removal of asbestos items including bike shelter roofs, a wall panels, heating units, gymnasium roof and two kilns.
The complicated nature of the removing kilns meant that it had to be broken down into two stages.
Firstly an enclosure was built to contain the items and the asbestos parts lining the units were removed.
