As part of a refurbishment contract Ipswich based contractor Barnes Construction awarded Kershaw the asbestos phase of the project at Lynton House, Tavistock Square, London.
Kershaw’s asbestos team attended site to encapsulate the asbestos cement ceiling panels which protected the steel beams running through the building.
Following the encapsulation the asbestos trained carpenters then undertook the fixing of timbers through the cement panels to allow the fixture of fire rated ceiling boards.
The works were completed successfully within budget and most importantly within the deadline required.
