Following a successful quotation process Kershaw Contracting Services was awarded the asbestos removal works at Bellbird Primary School, in Sawston, Cambridgeshire.
A site specific method statement was created complete with detailed site plans which included under floor maps of pipe ducts on-site.
Shortly after a Kershaw Contracting Services asbestos team attended site to remove asbestos containing materials from the building, these included:
• Asbestos debris to 200 linear meters of under floor pipe ducts;
• 1000 square meters of asbestos floor tiles;
• Asbestos Insulation Board ceilings to the school boiler room;
• Asbestos containing toilet cisterns from throughout the school.
All asbestos removal works were completed successfully on time and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
